Imagine a different way of living and working on Golden Lane….

This resident-led project has a vision for Golden Lane. The first stage in changing the estate was the Golden Lane Bike Project designed to seriously increase the quality and quantity of safe cycle storage on the estate. The project has recently been completed. We have now set up a Bike Project User group. Full details can be found in the bike section.

The City of London Climate Action Team has published both a Climate Action Plan and a Biodiversity Action Plan. Over the past three years, Golden Lane residents have suggested changes to the estate to aid the move to net zero and increased biodiversity. These ideas have now been mapped. see this section.

The thinking behind this work is that the City-wide Action Plans can now be tailored to the specific circumstances of each of the City of London estates.
